Haneulgyeol Dermatology (Sample) — Clinic information
Privacy policy

What the clinic collects
- What you write to the coordinator: your name, the contact you choose (email or messenger ID), your language, the procedure you ask about and the dates you plan to travel.
- Photographs and the pre-visit questionnaire, if you choose to send them.
- Health details you tell the clinic yourself, such as medicine you take. These are sensitive data. They are collected only with your separate consent, given by ticking the consent box in the photos and details form, and are used only to prepare your consultation.
- Page views on this site, without your IP address. The clinic sees which language pages are read and which site a visitor came from, not who you are.
Why it is collected
To answer your enquiry, to prepare and arrange a consultation, and to keep a record of what was agreed. Nothing here is sold, and nothing is used for advertising to you without your consent.
How long it is kept
- Enquiry messages and consultation notes: while the enquiry is active and then for as long as Korean medical and commercial record-keeping rules require.
- Photographs and questionnaires sent before a visit: deleted automatically 180 days after they are sent, or earlier if you ask.
- Page-view records: kept in aggregate, without identifying visitors.
Who else sees it
The clinic's own staff. Messaging platforms carry your messages if you write through WhatsApp, LINE or Instagram, under their own terms. The clinic uses a software provider to run this site and its enquiry inbox; that provider acts only on the clinic's written instructions, does not contact patients on its own behalf, and is bound by a data processing agreement with the clinic.
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC). When a page opens, your browser asks Google for the font files, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. Nothing you type on this site is sent to Google.
Processing outside Korea
When the clinic turns on automated replies, the text of chat and messenger messages is sent to an AI service to draft the reply. When clinic staff answer you themselves, the same service translates the messages between your language and Korean. Photographs and the pre-visit questionnaire are never sent to it.
- Recipient and country: Anthropic PBC, United States.
- What is sent: the text of your recent messages in the conversation, each time a reply is drafted or a message is translated, over an encrypted connection.
- Purpose: drafting the reply the clinic sends you, and translating messages so clinic staff can read and answer them.
- How long the recipient keeps it: as set by its terms for business customers.
- You can refuse: tell the coordinator, and your conversation is then answered by clinic staff only, without the AI service (translation included).
Asking to see or delete your data
Write to the clinic at the email address on the business information page and say what you want: a copy, a correction, or deletion. The clinic answers you and tells you what it must keep by law and why.
