Haneulgyeol Dermatology (Sample) — Clinic information
Deposit and refund policy
Last updated: 2026-10-11
How a deposit works here
A deposit holds a consultation or procedure slot for you. It is paid to the clinic through the clinic's own payment provider. No one else handles or holds the money.
The amount and the payment link are given to you by the coordinator in writing before you pay. If you have not received them in writing, do not pay.
Cancelling and changing a date
- If you cancel and tell the clinic in advance, the deposit is returned or moved to a new date. The notice period is on the clinic's own terms below.
- If the clinic cancels, or if the examination on the day shows the procedure is not suitable for you, the deposit is returned.
- If you do not arrive and did not tell the clinic, the clinic applies the policy below.
How a refund is paid
A refund is returned through the same payment route you used. International card and bank refunds usually take several business days, and your bank may deduct its own transfer fee, which the clinic does not control.
Asking for a refund
Write to the clinic at the email address on the business information page. Include the date you paid, the amount, and the appointment date. The clinic replies with what it will do and when.
Standard applied in Korea if there is a dispute
The Korea Fair Trade Commission publishes a consumer dispute resolution standard (notice of 18 December 2025). If the clinic's own terms and this standard differ, the standard is what a dispute body applies.
| When you cancel | Deposit returned |
|---|---|
| 3 days or more before the agreed date | 90 percent of the deposit |
| 2 days before | 50 percent of the deposit |
| 1 day before | 20 percent of the deposit |
| On the day | None |
- The table above is the standard for plastic surgery bookings.
- For a dermatology procedure cancelled before the procedure has started, the standard is compensation of 10 percent of the deposit.
- If the clinic cancels, the deposit is returned in full.
- A deposit is recommended to stay within 10 percent of the procedure fee.
This clinic keeps deposits within 10 percent of the procedure fee, in line with the published standard.
